Look drop dead gorgeous in the Madge dress from Motel!
Posted on February 20, 2009 in the Motel category

The Madge dress is absolutely stunning. The blue satin looks breathtaking under the layer of lace, while the ‘collar’ detailing at the top of the dress gives it a sophisticated edge.
The blue net underskirt gives the skirt a bit of extra emphasis which adds to the party feeling which pretty much oozes from it.
There is a zip fastening to the side of the fitted top making it easy to get in and out of. And the hook and eye at the top of the zip prevents any embarrassing moments of your dress falling down mid-dance.

Crazy Contacts
Posted on December 16, 2008 in the Random Stuff category
It’s great to see that more and more people are expressing themselves through the creative clothes they wear. What we perhaps like most of all are the small details that can make an outfit really pop out and become something more than just an average dress. There are ways to work in these details beyond just adding quirky items to your clothing. Lately we’ve been noticing more and more people wearing special effect contact lenses outside the realm of Halloween, and we love it! They’re an excellent way to add even more flair to your daily life.

Marilyn Manson is no stranger to wearing crazy contacts.
These types of contact lenses come in many fantastic designs, such as cat’s eye, blood red and wildfire. A huge plus is that everyone can wear them, regardless if you have a vision disorder or not. However, you still need to get fitted by an eye doctor, so make sure you do the proper research before deciding to buy crazy lenses. But once you’ve done that, you can let the fun begin!
Yet another stunner. The Lily dress from Motel
Posted on November 10, 2008 in the Motel category
Motel have done it yet again. Another gorgeous dress.
The Lily dress looks fantastic, a plain top and printed skirt. Look amazing as you step out on the town with your girls, make a scene cause a stir and catch everyone’s eyes and hearts.
Available in either a black top and red rose print skirt, blue rose print skirt or beige flower girl print skirt. A green top with a black rose print skirt or a red top with a checked skirt.
Whether you’re dressing it up with heels for a night out or dressing it down with tights and flats for a more casual day, this dress is perfect, whatever your plans.
Amazing punny t shirts…with meaning? Your eyes lie!
Posted on November 9, 2008 in the Your Eyes Lie category
Some of the best t shirts I’ve seen all year. Every single one in the collection made me smile. Promoting freedom of speech and a great outlook on life with awesome punny designs Your Eyes Lie are pretty damn great.
The Who’s Afraid of a Ginger Beard shirt cracks me up every time. Such a simple design and yet somehow hilarious. You just can’t help but smile.
Another favourite of mine from Your Eyes Lie is the BFH shirt. Because, honestly, who doesn’t feel like that every now and then? Who doesn’t want to turn around and give a big BFH to society? It’s yet another shirt that makes me smile whereas this one has a bit more meaning to me.

Spooky, yet sexy. Halloween costumes by Leg Avenue
Posted on October 17, 2008 in the Leg Avenue category
Halloween is fast approaching, and you are never too old to dress up and go out…even if it’s just to a party or a pub crawl with friends.
Leg Avenue are great. I love all the costumes that they offer (and there’s loads to choose from) beautiful, detailed and downright sexy.
The Pinky Witch costume is adorable, although gorgeously enticing. It comes complete with hat and striped stockings and is perfect for those looking for a Halloween costume which is both cute and sexy.
Another popular theme for Halloween costumes is fairytales and stories. A prime example of this, is Alice in Wonderland. This Queen of Hearts costume is amazing. It’s sexy, gorgeous, and comes complete with tiara and stockings. Leg Avenue also have costumes for Alice, the Mad Hatter, and other fairytale characters.
Happy Halloween!

Competition winners!
Posted on October 14, 2008 in the Competitions category
Oh yes, the winners for our competion have been drawn and it gives me great pleasure to announce them.
Before I do, I’d like to thank our friends over at Bored of the Highstreet for giving us such great prizes.
I shall announce the winners in order of the prizes from least to most wanted…because I feel like it and it seems the best way to possibly create a little suspense.
So, the winner of the Lego T Shirt is…Lucie Pugh!
Unfortunately Bored are no longer selling the Paul Frank Lego range, so unfortunately, I can’t point you to more great, Lego-related items. (Sorry!) I can however point you in the direction lots of other Paul Frank items though!
Our second winner, receiving the Festive Julius ‘Create-A-Face’ T Shirt is…Laura Hadland!
Although this particular t shirt is no longer available on Bored, you will be pleased to hear that a similar t shirt is! With the Create a Julius t shirt you can stick various pieces onto the fuzzy Julius face to create your own look. Go as crazy as you like!
And last, but certainly not least. The winner of the Bench Angel Pouch Bag, which over 100 entrants asked for, is…Victoria Smith!
But do not despair all those who missed out, The Bench Angel Pouch Bag is still available for purchase over at Bored.
Well done to all the winners, and thank you again to our friends over at Bored of the Highstreet.
This Motel Tshirt is Ace…
Posted on September 12, 2008 in the Motel category
The Motel Sequin Ace of Hearts tshirt is fantastic. It has a quirky ace of hearts design on the front made from sequins and to complete this fun design, on the back it looks like the back of a playing card.
It’s one of thos must have items of clothing that you can wear with just about anything [Brightly coloured jeans would work amazingly well with
it].
The perfect thing for a night on the town with the girls or just to stay in and watch a film. It’s truly a tshirt that can be worn to most occasions.
It really is an amazing idea and I applaud whoever designed it. Definitely another thing added to my ‘Most Wanted’ list.
Buckle up.

One of the best accessories for an outfit is a belt, I’m sure most of you are aware. What better way to liven up an old belt than with a shiny new Lowlife belt buckle?
Personally, I adore the Hot Pink Key buckle, which has the quirkiness of having a bottle opener detail. Also available in ‘old silver’.
I’m also in love with the black guitar head,
on which the detail is beautiful. And anyway, who doesn’t love guitars?
These buckles add that little extra spice to those old belts that just need a bit of extra loving, and if these ones don’t take your fancy, there are many many more belt buckles to choose from.
Wait, doctor, now I’m seeing… uh… stripes!

Continuing Friday’s post I have decided to stay on the theme of animal prints and do a post dedicated to the wonder of zebra print.
Okay, so in my eyes it’s not quite as amazing as leopard print…but it’s still pretty amazing. It too can also come in a variety of colours, such as the Criminal Damage pink zebra print skinny jeans (which also come in grey…which, let’s face it, isn’t half as exciting.)
I’ve also stumbled on these fantastic Atticus t shirts which show the Atticus logo in different colours of zebra print (although the black t shirt appears to have leopard print on the logo) available in black, white and purple t shirts.
Also, I wouldn’t mind having a pair of these snazzy
(yes, I said ’snazzy’ feel free to mock my choice of words there) Rocket Dog Jockey Zebra Print boots. With their panel of zebra print on the side of the black boot and the decorative buckles enhancing the overall look of the boot, it really is an amazing boot.
